Who am I as a therapist?
As a trauma therapist, I am dedicated to supporting clients on their journey of self-discovery and healing. I believe that the issues we face today have deep-seated origins in our past experiences and influence our current and future expectations. Understanding where your patterns started is an important part of my therapeutic process, and will be something we focus on throughout all phases of therapy together. I will create a safe and supportive environment where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered. My strength-based, client-centered eclectic approach is tailored to meet your unique needs as you are the expert on your experiences.
I specialize in guiding individuals and couples through the healing process from trauma and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to cultivate strong, secure connections - with themselves and others. Together, we’ll work to reconnect you with your true self and foster the confident, vibrant person you aspire to be, both inside and out. My experience is broad, but my clinical work is largely focused on clients who struggle with past trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, and self-esteem. I bring my past experience working in the criminal justice system and with clients healing from addiction into my work in an outpatient setting, understanding that everyone deserves empathy and room to grow and change regardless of their past.
You deserve to lead a fulfilling life on your own terms, and I would be honored to support you on your journey. If you’re ready to take the first step toward positive change, I invite you to schedule a free consultation.
Who am I as a person?
As a person, I am most happy when spending time with my family and friends. Often they keep me busier than I like but secretly I enjoy every minute of it. The beach is my happy place, however I get bored when I am in one place too long! I love to travel and find much joy and excitement in exploring new places. I feel energized when I am outside in nature and enjoy most activities where I can be active such as hiking, skiing, running, and golf. I have a good sense of humor and believe laughter is the best medicine!
